- This directory contains some examples of using WavesWorld to visualize
- data; in this case, 2D images over time. I've tried to balance making
- this "just work" with taking up lots of extra disk space. Therefore,
- I've included some images here in this directory, and put links inside
- the .wwModel file wrappers up to them. If you want to move stuff
- around, you'll need to manually make sure those links are still valid,
- or the RIBMakeTexture objects will not be able to find the files.
-
- Note that all of these examples are intended to be viewed in the
- following way:
-
- - start up a WW3DWell and click on the edge of the well to bring up
- its control panel.
-
- - on the bottom of the panel, select "camera" (as opposed to "model"
- or "currentShape")
-
- - drop the .wwModel file you want to look at into the well.
-
- - place your mouse in the well, hold the button down, and move down
- and to the right. The camera should "swoop" up and to the right of
- the model. If you want to manipulate the model, I advise doing it in
- an axis constrained fashion (by selecting the appropriate radio
- buttons).
-
- You should now be able to try any of the examples in this directory by
- dropping them into a WW3DWell and using the camera subpanel of the
- WW3DWell Control Panel to photorealistically render them. None of
- them will look terribly interesting until you render them. If you
- want to get a real fast feel for them, render them at a shading rate
- of 100.
